My name is Jose Cedeno. I’m from Guayaquil, Ecuador located in the middle of the equator between Colombia and Peru. I’m a junior at Oregon State University studying Industrial Engineering with the option of Information Systems. During my studies here at Oregon, I have learned what my true passions are. They can all be summarized with learning and technology.
I have been using Open Source Software since middle 2002. Since then many months have passed, and now, I love learning about using open source software. Thanks to time and lots of reading, I now know a little bit about web development such as: javascript, php, mysq, and css.
During my free time, I usually read technical books, websites, or articles to further my knowledge on linux and open source 
. I also try to stay involved in many different campus clubs and activities at OSU. Some of clubs and organizations that I’m involved with are: ICSP, SME, IIE, SMTA, IME Honors Club, and OSU LUG.

Soy un junior en Oregon State University, y estoy estudiando Ingenieria Industrial con opcion de Systemas de Computacion. Durante mis estudios en Oregon descubri lo que a mi realmente me interesa y me fascina. Estas cosas se las puede describir con dos palabras aprender y tecnologia.
He estado usando Open Source desde mediados del 2002. Han pasado muchos meses, y ahora me gusta aprender y usar Open Source programas. Gracias al tiempo y al esfuerzo leyendo y aprendiendo, ahora se hacer paginas de web y javascript, php, mysql y css.
